Directions

Arcachon is a 30 to 45 minute drive from Bordeaux, the hotel is very easy to access, just off the first roundabout at the end of the Bordeaux Arcachon road. The hotel is also 200m from the main Arcachon train station. 

Getting to Arcachon by car, train, plane and boat

Travelling to the hotel by car 

Less than 45 minutes from Bordeaux (60km). Starting from the Bordeaux ring road, take exit 15 for the A63 motorway in the direction of Arcachon/Bayonne. Take exit 22 for the motorway A660 in the direction of Arcachon. Follow the N250 in the direction of Arcachon centre, at the entrance of the town you will arrive at a large roundabout with a statue in the centre (Place de Verdun). The hotel Le Dauphin is 200m off the second exit.

Travelling to the hotel by train

The hotel is just 200m from the train station. There are TGV trains from Paris to Arcachon and local trains from Bordeaux all year round. Leaving the train station on foot, head to the right in the direction of the large roundabout (Place de Verdun) with a statue in the middle. The hotel is on the second road on the left.

Travelling to the hotel by plane

Aéroport International de Bordeaux- Mérignac 45 minutes away. From the airport follow the instructions for road or rail above.

Travelling to Arcachon by boat

The UBA Transbassin shuttles operate during the summer season with sevral daily crossings of the Arcachon Bay. A fun way to explore other cities around the bay. You can catch boats from Arcachon to Cap Ferret, Canon and Andernos. You also depart from the Dune du Pilat to the stunning naturel reserve of Banc d'Arguin.
